Global Next Gen Community is a membership organisation for inheritors of wealth and next generation family members from family offices and family businesses, providing them with a safe and comfortable forum where they can meet with their peers, build relationships, learn and share with each other, and learn from experts.

Olga Vysokova

Founder, Women Who Inspire platform; Co-Founder, Global Next Gen Community; Financial Consultant.

 

Olga Vysokova is a London-based financial services professional and social entrepreneur. Olga worked in the banking sector in London for 10 years, after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Moscow University, and a Master’s in Banking and Finance from Cass business school.

 

In 2016, she has founded the Women Who Inspire community, to empower and connect women in business and female business owners.

 

In 2019 she co-founded our Global Next Gen Community for family office and family business inheritors, which is now integrated within the Global Family Office Community.

 

Since 2019, Olga serves as a trustee on the board of NK Ballet Charity. She is also a recent graduate from Said Business School, Oxford, where she studied Organisational Leadership. She is a mother of 2 wonderful teenage children.

Rennie Hoare

Partner & Head of Philanthropy, C. Hoare & Co.

C. Hoare & Co. is the UK’s oldest family-run bank and the fourth oldest bank in the world. Rennie joined the bank in 2016 and has been a partner since 2018. The seven partners are 11th and 12th generation descendants of the bank’s founder, own 100% of the bank and carry unlimited liability. Rennie is also head of philanthropy and is Chair of the bank’s trustee services. This includes the bank’s donor advised fund (DAF), the Master Charitable Trust. The Master Charitable Trust accounts for around 10% of the UK DAF market.

Rennie is a regular commentator on UK philanthropy and frequently speaks at conferences and industry events. In 2019, he was recognised as the Spear’s Philanthropy Adviser of the year and during his stewardship of the bank’s philanthropy they have won prestigious industry awards including Outstanding Private Bank for Philanthropy (Private Banker International).
 
Inside the Golden Bottle Trust, a charitable trust which receives 10% of the bank’s profits, Rennie is actively involved in both grant-making and impact investments. At the end of 2019, the charitable trust achieved ‘total portfolio impact’, with 100% of the trust’s reserves invested in social impact investments.

Prior to working at the bank, Rennie worked in asset management at T. Rowe Price, Threadneedle and Guinness Asset Management. He graduated from the University of York with a BA Hons in Politics and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Rennie is the Chair of Philanthropy Impact and a trustee of the David Nott Foundation.

Honour Wainwright

Honour Wainwright is the 6th generation of the Boodles family and has assumed the role of Head of Communications at Boodles, becoming the first female family member in the company's history.

 

Prior to joining Boodles, she worked at Conde Nast in a similar capacity.

Growing up within the Boodles family, Honour brings a deep understanding of the brand's heritage and values.

 

Her transition to Boodles signifies a significant step in the company's evolution, as she aims to contribute her expertise in communication strategy and brand management to further enhance Boodles' presence in the market.

Nikè Anani

Nikè Anani is a the Director of Next Gen Advisory for Northern Trust Wealth Management. In her role, she prepares next generation family members for the complexities of wealth ownership. Her personal experience as a second generation owner and family office founder is the inspiration behind her passion for helping other next gens find their voice and become successful stewards.

An accomplished speaker and author on wealth and values transfer strategies, Nikè is the host of “The Connected Generation” podcast and the author of “Lifetime to Legacy: A New Vision for Multigenerational Family Businesses.”

Nikè earned an economics degree from University College London, is a chartered accountant and has a certificate in Family Business and Family Wealth Advising from Family Firm Institute. She is a board member of YPO’s Global Family Business Network, where she champions initiatives to support education and peer learning of the next generation.

Mike Scala

Mike Scala has founded a number of organizations deploying capital globally while implementing sustainable solutions and impact across all sectors. He has led efforts both on the ground and behind the scenes traveling around the world to work with family offices, NGOs, and public and private sector. In addition, his work with organizations such as Bankers Without Boundaries with governments, institutions and cities to mobilize capital applying financial concepts/structuring to public projects aligning them with the investment needs of capital markets, risk reduction, scaling and generation of financial returns, the World Health Organization, SAP, and more have resulted in providing aid and opportunities to millions across continents the past two years alone. His work has been recognized at The World Economic Forum and he is helping lead the movement around a more sustainable future bridging the gap across generations.

He is also the Founder of The Impact Agency, a private specialized agency that works with family offices, foundations, NGOs, and the public and private sector. They provide accountability, scale, and maximum return on impact of philanthropic investment/giving.
 

With a track record of a minimum of 2-5x return on impact, (that is for every $1 million they deliver up to $2-$5 million of value out into the world) they are empowering underserved communities and diversity around the world and supporting the transformation of philanthropy, reimagining wealth intergenerationally, and across the private sector internationally. With experience in the areas of disaster relief, youth and community engagement, COVID relief, education, environmental sustainability/clean energy, tech, human rights, art and culture, and more, it is the first of its kind as a "one stop shop" for all things impact related.

Sean Keegan

Sean is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and family business member who started a company which delivered technology solutions and information security training to family office principals in 2011, shortly after graduating from Tufts University.

Sean’s activities include recruiting C-Suite executives; managing teams of outsourced, off-shore personnel; and investing in emerging “frontier tech” themes like the rise of cryptocurrencies and gene editing.

More recently, Sean has focused on (1) supporting his family’s own venture capital and commercial real estate portfolio, and (2) coordinating activities with other NextGens who have an interest in effective impact investing. He is most attracted to solving problems that involve emotions, technology, and interpersonal (especially family and team) dynamics.
 
Sean lives in Los Angeles, California, and has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He sits on the board of the KDK Charitable Trust; and DAS LLC, his family’s investment holding company. Previously, Sean was the founder and CEO of DAS Capital Partners, a quantitative cryptocurrency investment manager.

Richard Thorpe

Richard comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Whilst he initially chose a career in sport, (playing premiership & international rugby between 2003 & 2016), he has since worked in business.

Whilst preparing for his retirement from professional rugby, Richard co-founded an investment company together with his brother whereby they developed and managed property investments. They quickly took on capital from their Family Office alongside managing external capital, focussing on lending debt to UK property developers.

Whilst managing investments, Richard began coaching & mentoring members of other family offices, professional athletes and corporate executives. In late 2018 following the completion of further formal training & accreditation, he set up a coaching consultancy which is now his primary vocation.

Richards coaching specialises in career & life transitions. His clients include family office Principals & next gen, international athletes and c-suite executives. In his spare time, Richard enjoys all forms of exercise (in particular trail-running and HIIT), spending time with family and friends and coaching men’s rugby.

Mark Estcourt

Mark is the Founder and CEO of Cavendish Family Office (London), an international wealth advisory service focusing on next-gen and entrepreneurial clients.

He helps financial leaders future-proof their family legacy by providing advice on environmental, social and governance (ESG) concerns as well as helping them adapt to new technological and political challenges.

He assists with all aspects of wealth, including tax & structuring, accounting, legal, investment management, real estate and alternative assets. He also supports early-stage entrepreneurs structure their companies and plan for growth.

Nickolai Vysokov

Nickolai is an avid neuroscientist, public speaker and entrepreneur. He earned his PhD title in Neuroscience from Imperial College London and worked in top academic institutions as well as scientific and financial firms.

In 2018 Nickolai started his company BrainPatch with an ambition "to bring the benefits of brain stimulation and brain-computer interfaces to every home and every clinic across the globe”. He runs a top team of scientists and AI engineers to develop cutting-edge innovation in the neurotechnology sector and to test these solutions in real life for real everyday problems, such as stress or loss of concentration.

As a Next Gen Nickolai likes to take on the biggest challenges and to tap into his expanding network for solving them. He enjoys learning new things outside of the box from blockchain to quantum physics and while he likes an argument about controversial topics, he is happy to stand corrected when presented with credible evidence.
